Cool Crutches
Project Description
Everything can be animated! A motto we go by here at the studio. So when the team from Cool Crutches reached out, we instantly knew this is going to be a fun challenge. We ended up creating a master stop motion video featuring both SKUs and a bunch of shorter cuts, which focused on individual characteristics of Cool Crutches products.
How we made it
We wanted to showcase both functionality and usage, so we mixed tactile and digital animation, our favourite combo. To make sure we could control the crutch we used fishing wire and attached it from 5 different angles. We also recorded the digital person's movements in real life in our studio first, and then replicated that in the animation. To make the video really shine, we added some cool music and dynamic copy.
